Loving the Church

Being the Church Inside and Out

Come join Pastor Brian on this trip to Houston, Texas to see, hear and participate firsthand how Christians can faithfully and relevantly live out the heart and mission of Christ in our lives.

Specifically, we will be hearing from various pastors and leaders from Houston's First Baptist Church on meaningful membership, impactful outreach and discipleship. And special to this year, we are partnering with Restoration Community Church to serve in their annual MLK Day outreach event to experience it all firsthand.

Through this mentoring trip, we pray that you will grow a greater vision for loving the church and in leading others in Christ's love!

MENTORING PROGRAM

WHAT TO EXPECT

Morning Devotionals
Each morning, we will spend time together to see what it looks like to love the church through Scripture.
Evening Debriefs
Each night, we will take time to share our thoughts from the day and spend time in worship and prayer.
Fellowship
Tour and enjoy the city of Houston together.
MLK Day Outreach Event
Hosted by Restoration Community Church, we are invited to participate in their local outreach event.
Mentoring Sessions
Special guests will present private seminars to our group on various topics of leadership, ministry, culture and community.
Special Meals
Joined by special guests, we'll have a more informal setting to be encouraged by one another.

Total Cost: $800

Here is a general breakdown of what the trip cost covers.

$400 - Flight & Transportation

Flight tickets, van rental, gas and toll.

$300 - Food & Housing*

All housing and most group meals in Houston will be covered by the trip costs.

$50 - Mentoring Program

Covers the costs of program and administrative expenses.

$50 - Mentoring Activities

Covers the cost of any activities we do as a group during the trip.

Space is limited and specifically for this trip, priority will be given to leaders and members of the church! 
Also, a $200.00 non-refundable deposit will be required once the attendee list is finalized to confirm your spot.
