Building Up the Global Church
With Morogoro Bible College
Our mission to Tanzania is a partnership with Morogoro Bible College (MBC), a ministry started by Missionary Chang Sik Choi almost 25 years ago. The mission of MBC is to train up ministers who will then return to their homes to plant new churches or serve in a local church. And to date, there have been over 200 churches planted through its graduates.
Sometimes in missions, our best intentions can actually be unhelpful and even harmful to the witness of the Gospel. By partnering with Missionary Choi to support this network of local churches, we are able to enter Tanzania with humble hearts and open ears to listen so that we are able to best serve the communities and churches of Tanzania. Traditionally, we have done this in Tanzania by preparing VBS programs, door-to-door evangelism and supporting local evangelistic events together with the seminarians of MBC.

This year is special because we have just begun supporting a new church-plant named Kilongo Vision Church located in Morogoro, Tanzania led by Pastor Eliud and Pastor Reuben. In addition, we will be joining our sister Elisha who we will be sending as a short-term missionary to serve MBC and Kilongo Vision Church three months before we arrive. We will be spending extended time to serve Kilongo Vision Church as they set the foundations of their church during this important first year.
We are committed to not simply return with a summer experience but a continuing and mutual long-term partnership with MBC and Kilongo Vision Church through our prayers and missions efforts. Therefore, the support we are raising to fund this trip does not simply cover two weeks in July. It is sowing seeds to build up the global church. They are seeds that God will grow to yield as promised, a harvest of 30, 60, 100 fold.

will supply and multiply your seed for sowing
and increase the harvest of your righteousness."
